Hello, It is probably unnecessary, but I could not resist to write my impression about Ron's Editor. It is GREAT! It really is. It does what it has to, it does it in the right way, it is fast and comfortable. It is a really great software! I want to congratulate you.Lóránt Csonka
Hi! I love Ron's Editor and use it all the time for work.Matt Scholl , NexGen Consultants
I use Ron's Editor to help manage our online store (Bigcommerce). I found it while trying to find a way to edit HTML in my CSV files. Microsoft Excel doesn't handle multi-line HTML in a cell very well which makes it very hard to edit. Ron's Editor has separate window that will show multi-line cells and a convenient content viewer window that will render HTML.Kenny Davis , Philadelphia Luthier - Tools and Supplies
This editor makes the job quicker and the editor itself runs faster than CSVED (a LOT faster!). I'm probably not the only Excel user frustrated by the 65000 limit. Thank you for a very useful bit of software.Paul
Dear Ron, Your CSV Editor is just what I needed and I bought a license. I bought a few others (like "CSV Easy" ... also very OK), but none as good as yours. […]
Thank you so much for this great and *very affordable* software-gem !
Our department at the "Catholic University of Leuven" (KULEUVEN, major University in Belgium, Europe) is called 'LIBIS'.
We are a.o. into the support of and solutions for 'learning-centers', (all types of) libraries, museums, archives, digital repositories ...
One of the tasks I am responsible for is providing solutions for all types of related data conversions, protocol communication and digital- and metadata format support.
As you know well (CSV Editor) the delimited format is well suited (a.o.) to cater to the needs of a common interchange data format.
"Ron's Editor" proved perfectly suited and thus used by me, together with other tools and utilities like MS Excel (just to name a well known one).
Most of my colleagues mostly use MS Excel for most CSV related conversions, but since I, personally, occasionally get all sorts of CSV files (various formats, delimiters and of course with many rows/columns) to deal with then specialised software like Ron's Editor always comes in handy.
a.o. I write scripts and programs to deal with these 'CSV'/delimited files, and to get a quick overview as well as an in-depth view of what our customer provided us with, your "Ron's Editor" is very handy.Stefaan Boonen , Catholic University of Leuven, LIBIS
This tool has been a life saver for my company!!!! Thank you!Whitney Schroeder , TextbookRush
I love your editor. We work with medical codes and some of them have leading zeroes which Excel recognizes as a number and therefore drops the leading zeroes when saving. Someone wrote a macro for Excel that pre-formats all cells as text before reading in the data but each Excel release tends to break the macro so we have to rework it. Finally I found a solution that treats CSV data as CSV data and that solution would be Ron’s CSV Editor. Many thanks!Dave Wilbur, Medical Coding - Software Developer
Bravo! Ron's Editor is a real time and frustration saver. The Merge Column alone is worth the price of admission. A nice clean inter face makes for an exceptionally low learning curve. Well done!
I'd be delighted to have you add my comments to the web site. Your product saved me hours of trial and error editing a large csv file.Brian Henkel
I love the fact that you are continually improving your editor! I use it every day to maintain Magento websites and it has grown invaluable to me. I never have to worry about product UPC codes displaying in scientific notation or dropping leading zeros like every other spreadsheet.
Fill Lookup is also brilliant, I can hardly believe I had not used it until now. The speed with which I can reformat data to make products available online is now amazing to me. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks! It's extremely rare for me to find a piece of software that I use as much as I use Ron's Editor.Jacob Mertz , Crown Display, Inc.
