Ron's Renamer is a tool for renaming many files in one go, using rules like search and replace. Batches of files can be 10's to 1000's, and span multiple directories, with an unlimited number of rules that can be combined to achieve almost any result.
Ron's Renamer has been designed from concept to execution to be simple and fast to use, without compromising on power; in short to make a difficult job as easy as possible.

Ron's Renamer is free to download, but it contains some restrictions in its Lite version that can only be unlocked with a Pro license key (see Differences between Lite and Pro version).
A FREE 30 day Pro Evaluation License is also available (download Ron's Renamer first, and then select 'Try Pro Free').
Why not give it a try? The download is free and the installation simple.
The functionality to read EXIF tags (quickly) came from Simon McKenzie on The Code Project.
Thank you for your truly excellent software. I could do without the license but it is not right for us to use a software that is invaluable to us, and not pay for it. Once again thank you....Dionisis
THANK YOU. Tried out a few crappy ones before I found yours and got the job done in 5 minutes, just like in my wildest dreams. Now I can just get on with what I was doing in the first place! Nice job.Anon
